He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Lawson; his children, Karen Lawson of Jeffersonville, Gregory Lawson (Barbara) of Clarksville, Indiana and Jeffery Lawson (Shannon) of Clarksville, Indiana; his stepson Terry Wayne Houtchens (Sharon) of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandsons, Brandon, Brent and Aaron Lawson; his great grandchild Iris; his siblings, Douglas Lawson (Mary Ann) and Marquita Lawson; his nieces, Telford and Beth Anne Freeman of Florida; and his nephew Jason Clapton. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews as well as step nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for expressions of sympathy to be made to Crusade for Children or the American Diabetes Association.
