He was predeceased by: his mother Jean Marie Colbath; and his brother Frank "Bop" Payton. He is survived by: his daughter Shaquana Colbath; his grandchildren, Dior, Kyri and Aris; his father David C. Thomas Jr. (Bernetta); and his siblings, Dominick, Felicia, MaryAnn, Davonna, Raven, Damita, Donitta, Barbra, Dana, Crystal and Jeannie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
