He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Rosie Dyer Harvey; and his brothers, Marcus Harvey, Johnny Harvey, Ronnie Harvey and Donnie Harvey.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Bernhardt Harvey; his sons, Dennis Harvey Jr. of Jeffersonville, Jeremy Harvey of Louisville and Aaron Harvey of Jeffersonville; his sisters, Sue Flint of Scottsburg and Peggy Bryant of Jeffersonville; and his stepchildren, Kristina Marcum of Jeffersonville, Cassandra Marcum of Jeffersonville, Felicia Marcum of Jeffersonville and Chelsie Brown of Georgetown, IN.. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.
