He was predeceased by: his mother Liz Cherry; and his grandparents, Carolyn Tate, William and Pearl Cherry. He is survived by: his father Ron Cherry; his sisters, Holly Hogan (Brandon) and Jessica Randol (Nathan); and his nieces and nephews, Harper, Henry, Abby, Jaxten and Lylah. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and best friends, who were like surrogate family members.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association.
