He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rommel and Catherine Rommel (Herbert); and his siblings, Michael Rommel, Kathy Clark and Carolyn Pruitt.
He is survived by: his children, Gracie, Jack and Courtland; his siblings, Mickie Cox (Steve), Mark Rommel (Teresa), Rose Delehanty (Bill), Marilyn McGarvey (Thomas), Joe Rommel (Renee) and Jim Rommel (Carol); and his friend Mark Bivens. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews; and many other extended family and friends.
The family requests that contributions in Mitch's memory be made to the American Heart Association (240 Whittington Parkway, Hurstbourne, KY 40222).
