It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Mae Rush of Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan H. Massie and Louzelia Massie; her husband Ronald Otis Rush; her son Victor Todd Lowe; and her siblings, John, Randall Massie and Judy Vermillya.
She is survived by: her daughter Carla Reisert of Jeffersonville, IN; her stepchildren, Natalie Becht (Mike) of New Albany, IN, John Rush of Ft. Meyers Beach, FL. and Jeff Rush of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Courtney, Ian, Brittany, Brieanna, Glenn, Nicole, Alexandra, Madeline, Isabella Amanda and Ashton; her great grandchildren, Lilly, Keegan, Hank, Esme, Gabriel, Sterling, Lucy and Porter; her grandchildren, Trisha and Bryan; her great grandchildren, Sarah, Judah, Emma, Luke, Lily, Tyler, Dylan and Elijah; and her close friend Janice. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
