It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elisa C. McCrary of Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Contreras and Guadalupe Contreras; her son Donald Ferguson; and her siblings, Reuben Contreras, Frank Contreras, Rebecca Contreras Cortez and Samuel Contreras.

She is survived by: her children, Danny Ferguson (Mary), Deborah Kahl (Steve), Doris Smith (Frank), Donna Sherrard, Terry McCrary (Cathy) and Susan McCrary; and her siblings, Carolyn Rodriguez, Rachel Garcia, Baltazar Contreras (Jane) and Moses Contreras (Lupita). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren.
