She was predeceased by: her parents, Bird Henry Meers and Lola Mae Baker Brown; her husband John Wayne; and her grandchildren, Christopher Mitchell and Jordan Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Wayne of Clarksville, Pam Oliver (John) of Jeffersonville and Laura Mitchell (Tim) of Georgetown, KY.; her sister Edna Meers Schraffenberger of Louisville; and her sister-in-law Judy Rogers of Shelbyville, KY.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
