She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gilliland and Thelma Gilliland (Stayton); her son Gary Brian Tanner; and her siblings, Robert Gilliland and Rosa Bratcher.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald Tanner, Jr.; her daughter Kimberly Zielberg (Mark); her daughter-in-law Valeska Tanner; her grandchildren, Halee, Cole and Lucas Tanner; and her brother William Gilliland.
