He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Louetta (Lumpkins) and Curtis Franklin Ashton, Sr.; and his siblings, Madonna Baldwin and Curtis "Bub" Ashton, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Ashton (Ratcliff); his children, Jim Ashton, Jr. (Diana Howlett) and Amanda Rehkamp (Jason); his grandchildren, Scott Ashton, Kevin Ashton, Emily Bealer, Evan Bealer and Madison Rehkamp; and his sister Martha Shirley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Pkwy, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
