He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Stark and George Stark; his wife Nancy Shafer Stark; his siblings, Ruth Ellen Cofer and Bill Stark; his niece Susie Stark; his son-in-law Doug Scherer; and his granddaughter Amanda Beckendorf.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Mader (Roger), Amy Nicholson (Jim) and Sharon Rosenbarger (Michael); his stepchildren, Andy Avery (Karen), Alan Avery (Mary Anne) and Anne Scherer (Kenny); his niece Lori Dickerson (Jerry); and his close friend Sonja Wise. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren, several great great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to: River Cities Concert Band or Trinity United Methodist Church of New Albany, where he was a member.
