He was predeceased by: his parents, Gowdy Lee and Cora Ellen Bailey (Hazel); his brothers, Michael and Gerald; and his nephew Tony Bailey.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra A. Bailey and Kimberly Buchanan; his children, Marlina Beasley (Lewis), La'Toya Bailey and Shawn Bailey; his grandchildren, Lewis Jr., Mathias, Alias, Evangeline, King, Shawn Jr., Ja'Vair, Dallas and Lanxton; his sister-in-law Rita Bailey; his nieces and nephews, Michael Jr. Bailey (Laura), William Buchanan II, Monique Bailey, Tomica Moore and Kalicia Buchanan; his friends, Tommy Crenshaw, Rodney Embry and Derrick Blair; and his pet Luna.
