He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Jones and Renver Jones (Mabry); and his son Tim. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Jones and Angela Phillips (Todd); his sister Minnie "Pettie" Sparks; his niece Anita; and his nephews, Rick and Justin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
