He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur O. Kidwell and Beatrice Olene Kidwell (Lohden); his son Michael S. Kidwell (Angela); his brothers, David Morton and Carl Douglas "Dougie" Morton; and his stepfather Burnis Morton.

He is survived by : his daughters, Sharon Youngblood (Corey) and Michelle Fox (Anthony); his grandchildren, Danny Hornbuckle, Jessica Hayun, Christopher Caldwell, Tabitha Ferry, Haley Boone, Lucas Fox, Lucy Kidwell and Benjamin Kidwell; and his brothers, Donnie Kidwell, Burnis Morton and Larry Morton. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
