She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus E. Stewart and Ruth Stewart (Cantrell); her former husband Charles A. Eves, Sr.; her son John D. Eves; and her siblings, Mary Stanton and Jimmy E. Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Charles A. Eves (Damaris), Anita K. Eves, Rufus Eves (Ai) and Birgitta Lindsey; and her sister Martha Waldrep. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Gospel Church (2614 E 10th St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
