He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Randolph Loy and Margaret Fay Miller; his brother Phillip; and his great grandchild David Isaac. He is survived by: his wife Polly May Stiegman; his child Abby; his siblings, Donna Weir, Virginia Robertson, Angela Miller and David Loy (Sherry); his children, Shawn Loy (April), Abigail Kleehamer (Troy), Todd Loy (Amanda Jackson), Rachel Loy and Marcye Griffith (Travis); his grandchildren, Kayla Joseph Stice (Jake), Dustin Joseph, Caleb Griffith, Emily Loy Burgess (Conner), Ravin Loy, Shayna Loy, Hope Griffith Ulrich (Aaron), Charli Loy, Kenna Loy, Corrie Loy and Lila Kleehamer; his great grandchildren, Luke Jackson, Lainey Jackson, Kaisaac Stice, Lochlan Stice, Abigail Mills, Berkleigh Stice and Grayson Paul Burgess; his aunt Ruth; and his uncle Johnny. He is also survived by cousins, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Paul requested that donations be made to Charlestown Independent Church and designated for: Good Samaritan Children's Home in Malawi, Africa, Victory World Outreach, 5040 Penn Road, Iron Station, NC 28080.
