He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Edison and Barbara Ann DeRita. He is survived by: his children, Richard Jr. (Liz), Louis (Christy), Christina, Candis (Gautier), Jeremy (Phebe) and Cortni (Norman); and his brothers, Ronald, Raymond (Linda) and Robert. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
