He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Barley and McKinley Barley; his siblings, Bud Barley, Joyce McLemore, Maxine Eskew, Helen Terrell and Pauline Petty; and his granddaughter Katie Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Harbison Barley; his children, Susan McCane, Kevin Barley (Linda) and Leigh Ann Thompson; his brother Buck Barley (Brenda); his sister-in-law Joyce Barley; his grandchildren, Danielle Barley, Tayler Barley, Alexandra McCane, Luke Thompson (Sarah), Josh Thompson, Leah Thompson and Shannon Shephard; and his great grandchildren, McKinley, Kiera, Kamielle, Jaxton, Penny, Bentley, Henry, Joshua, Myracle and Elliott.
