He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dixon and Stella Dixon (Banks). He is survived by: his wife Rose Ann Dixon; his children, Ronald Lee Dixon (Tonya Gail) of Jeffersonville, June Ann Haggard (Johnny Wayne) of Jeffersonville and Roger Alan Dixon (Jenna Marie) of Sellersburg; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Ariel, Aaron, Allen, Timothy, Elijah, Mason and Alex. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
