She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bruce and Ladora Marie Shearer (Koger); her husband William E. McCain; and her daughter Sue Ann Harlow. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Scott McCain (Karen) of Henryville; her grandchildren, Lori McCormick of Jeffersonville, Brooke Harlow of Jeffersonville, Crystal Helms of Louisville and Brandon Forbes of Memphis, Indiana; her brother Frank Shearer (Cheryl) of Guntersville, Alabama; and her great grandchildren, Layla, Keaton, Knoxx, Chloe and Pearl.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Pkwy, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
