He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Johnson and Rose M. Russell (Davis); and his brother Micheal Russell, Sr.. He is survived by: his sister Donna Russell of Louisville; his nieces and nephews, Onnda McKinney, Early Russell, Eric Russell, EJ Casey and Micheal Russell, Jr.; his stepsiblings, Dena Johnson, Joy Johnson and James Johnson, Jr.; and his friends, Michael Mudd and Paul Howard. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
