He is survived by: his wife Loretta A. Rutledge of Jonesboro; his children, Danny Rutledge, Dennis Rutledge (Debbie), Darrell Rutledge (Casie), Laurel Gabbard (Mitch), Kirk Barton (Ellen), Shelly Sills (Brian), Christine Ailes (Chris), Jerry "Lee" Barton (Julie) and Bradley Barton; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Danielle, Logan, Dereck, Darren, Elizabeth, Garrett, Taylor, Brandon, Amy, Scott, Keith, Andrea, Kaylee, Dustin, Desiree, Tawni, Amanda, Cortney, Brayden, Alanis, Saraya, Josie and Lucas. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church (517 Church St, Marion, IN 46987).
