He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Joan Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Glen L. Phifer, Hope M. Risner (Roger) and Arlene F. Freeman; and his friend Debby Hasket. He is also survived by one sister, one brother, along with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Young-Nichols Funeral Home (216 W Jefferson St, Tipton, IN 46072). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
