She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Joseph and Catherine Pauline Wirick (Smead). She is survived by : her husband Herman Preston of Kendallville; her sons, Terry Lee Richter Jr. of Angola and Ronald N. Sr. Richter (Nancy) of Rome City; her stepsons, Christopher Preston of Marion, Rodney Preston of Fort Wayne and Ty Preston (Hattie) of Columbia City; her grandchildren, Traci, Anna, Nic, Ronald Jr. and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Alexis and Bentley; and her sister Barbara Nelson of Kendallville.

Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
