He was predeceased by: his son Damon C. Burkley; and his siblings, JoAnn Grunden and Ralph Eugene Burkley. He is survived by: his children, Lori Stidham (Roger VanHorn) of Kendallville and Erik Burkley (Brittany) of LaGrange; and his grandchildren, Aries, Mason, Gunner, Laken, Fenyx, Emmalee and Kaliopy. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel (222 S State St, Kendallville, IN 46755).
