He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frederick Traster and Katherine Frances Traster (Kreigbaum); his wife Shirley Traster; and his siblings, Velma Keister, Martha Carunchia and Harry Traster.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharrel (Richard Wells), Jennifer (Jeffrey Luttman) and Janet (Walter Domer, Jr.); his grandchildren, Angela (Ryan Cassidy), Elizabeth (Chris Way), Emily (Chad McKinley), Hillary (Matthew Risk), Erin (Taylor Domer) and Melissa Domer (Cody Grider) of Brown County, Indiana.; and his great grandchildren, Anna Cassidy, Will Cassidy, Max Way, Libbey Way, Carter McKinley, Owen McKinley, Charlie Domer and Elec Domer.
Memorial donations may be made to Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana or to the Shirley Traster Nursing Scholarship or Trinity Church United Methodist.
