She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Stonebraker and Gladys Stonebraker (Snyder); her son Jeffrey Grate; and her brothers, John Stonebraker and Bill Stonebraker.
She is survived by: her husband Michael VanHorn of Kendallville; her granddaughters, Amanda Dunn (Ryan) and Crystal Grate; and her great grandchildren, William Dunn, Albert Dunn and Edward Dunn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel (222 S State St, Kendallville, IN 46755).
