Simmers (Sutorius) of Kendallville; his children, Heather Rose Schwegler (Ed) of Edgewater, Florida, Coleen Ross (Derek) of LaGrange, Miriam "Mimi" Bennett (Jeff) of Huntertown, Ben Solero (Casie) of Wake Forest and Dan Solero (Andi) of Dallas, Texas; and his siblings, Jan Hoffman (Mike) of Huntington and Al Simmers (Sharon) of Roanoke. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
