He was predeceased by : his father John Newton Moyer, Jr. of Kendallville; his grandparents, John Moyer Sr., Sandy Moyer, Robert E. Miller Sr. and Janet D. Miller; and his uncle Don Meyer.

He is survived by : his mother Brenda Lee Deter (Miller); his sister Taylor Moyer of Kendallville; his stepbrothers, Austin (Sierra Deter) and Zane Deter of Kendallville; his aunts, Sherrie (Gary Lyman), Linda (Dan Stamper), Jill (Jay Metzger), Karen (Gary Gordon), LeaAnn Wicker of Kendallville and Lisa Brashear of Albion; his uncle Robert Jr. (Charlotte Miller); his grandparents, Rick and Sue Deter of Albion; and his uncle Chad Deter (Jamie) of Kendallville.

Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of his mother, Brenda Deter.
