He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskel Engle and Esther Engle (Piper); his children, Mary Gienger (Masters) and Gary Masters; his great grandchild Katelynn Masters; and his siblings, Mary Farris, Kenneth Engle and Dale Engle.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Engle, LeeAnn Confer (Ernie), Brenda Farmer (Randy), Sharon Masters and Glen Masters; his grandchildren, Kara Sullivan (Tyler), Justin Miller (Mary), Kimberly Kaiser (Nick), Derek Miller (Dana), Kelsey Pauley (Chad), Kyle Confer (Ashton), Gary Masters II, Aren Armstrong (Brandon), Heather Masters, Sabra Bradley (Skylar), Derick Gienger (Kimberly), Jeremy Masters, Brandi Krause (Justin), Marcus Farmer (Katie), Ashley Masters (David Traxler), Megan Schenher (Austin) and Mariah Masters; and his sisters, Dora Stahl and Barbara Herendeen. He is also survived by 38 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Homes - Albion Chapel (771 Trail Ridge Rd, Albion, IN 46701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel (771 Trail Ridge Rd, Albion, IN 46701).
