He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Kline and Claudia Kline (Ruffing); his grandson Michael Brown Kline, II; and his siblings, Lois Hetrick, Donald Kline, Dean Kline and Fred Kline.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kline of Kendallville; his sons, Michael Kline (Olinda) of Auburn and Rick Kline (Loretta) of Avilla; and his grandchildren, Michelle Kuhlhorst (Paul) of Auburn, Samantha Penland (Justin) of Huntertown, Corey Kline of Kendallville, Kevin Kline of Kendallville and Tanya Buhl of Colorado. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
