He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ebert and Betty Ebert (Gillespie); and his brothers, Jim Ebert, Michael Ebert, Dick Ebert, Bob Ebert and William "Bill" Ebert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Susie Boese of Kendallville and Richard G. "Dick" Cross of Kendallville; and his nieces and nephews, Rychelle Cross, Jennyfer Steckley, Mike Ebert, Billy Ebert, Tammie McGee, Jim McGee, John McGee, Troy Ebert, Jason Ebert and Kim Ebert. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and six great great-nieces and nephews.
