She was predeceased by: her close friend Charles Sullivan; her siblings, Linda Sutton and Roland Shafer; her son-in-law Tom McDaniel; the father of her children Fred Kaufman; and her former husband Daniel Yoder.
She is survived by: her children, Karen McDaniel of Goshen, Steven Kaufman (Kay) of Fort Wayne and Kathleen Haley (Kennie); and her sister Mary Lou Troyer (Shafer) of South Carolina. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
