With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harry Basan of Kentland, Indiana, born in Alton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Basan and Bea Basan (Stout); his brother Tom Basan; and his nephew Tommy Mark Basan. He is survived by: his wife Donna Franklin; his children, Soni Mohr (Steve), David Basan (Missy) and Bryan Basan; his granddaughters, Kristin Marlowe and Kelcie Lewis (Bailey); his great grandchildren, Preston and Barrett Marlowe; his nieces, Vicky Welch (Tom) and Cheryl Deardurff (Jeff); and his close friend Wayne Tucci.
