He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman McNelly and Alberta McNelly (Cripe); his son Jeffery Scott Lewis; and his stepfather Edward Eason. He is survived by: his wife Tammy McNelly; his children, Sommer McNelly of Rensselaer and Coltyn McNelly (Madison); his grandchild Maelyn of Lafayette, Indiana; and his siblings, Steve McNelly of Goodland, Pam Crain (George) of Kentland and Kevin McNelly (Amy) of Potomac. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
