It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Stump Jr. of Kimmell, Indiana, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stump Sr. and Carol Treft (Teeple); his grandson Braxton Stump; his sister Jean Hopkins; his brother-in-law Monty Gard; and his half-sister Brandy Busz.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Gard; his son Tyler Stump (Niki Frieden) of Plymouth, Indiana; his siblings, Todd Stump (Dawn) of Cromwell, Cory Stump (Kaitlyn) of Goshen, Louis Stump of Warsaw, Indiana, Tina Streby (Craig) of North Webster and Daleen Mast (Jeff) of Warsaw, Indiana; his half-sisters, Misty Simerl (Tyler) and Charity Cordill (Dustin); his brothers-in-law, Delmer Gard (Pati Castillo) of Garrett, Trevor Gard (Irena) of Cromwell and Chad Gard (Wendy) of Huntsville, Alabama; his half-brothers, Marlen Waldridge (Brenda Reiff) and Keith Waldridge; his sister-in-law Deborah Dills of Wolcottville, Indiana; and his stepmother Terri Stump of Warsaw, Indiana.
