He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ahrendt and Tillie Ahrendt (Borys). He is survived by: his wife Pat; and his children, Leslie Slayton (David), James'Jay'Ahrendt II, Tricia Gall (Duke) and Mary Fruits (Brian). He is also survived by one granddaughter, 9 grandsons, and 3 great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
