He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer "Red" Sanders and Betty Jo Sanders (Corey); his stepfather Clyde Nelson; his son Scotty Joe Sanders; and his siblings, Buck, Bill, Jim, Butch and Peach Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Larry, Rodney (Victoria) and Melissa (Michael); his grandchildren, Whitney, Audrey, Sabrina, Stella, Jimmy, Hank and Harlan; his great grandchildren, Kyler, Asher, Juniper and Kymber; and his sisters, Emma "Tootie" Plunkett and Helen Plunkett (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
