He is survived by: his wife Janet Dowers (McMurtrey); his sons, Dale Dowers (Dana) and Brian Dowers (Kim); his grandchildren, Abbott (Ashley), Hannah (Luke) and Paitynn; his great grandchildren, Cooper and Cohen; his sister Marsha Ernst (Bill); and his sister-in-law Carol Barr (McMurtrey). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waterman Baptist Church (8560 IN-234, Kingman, IN 47952). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
