It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Bond of Kingman, Indiana, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Baird and Norma Baird (Holycross); her husband James "Jimmy" Bond; her daughter Torie D. Bond; her brother Lonis Baird; her nephew Ronnie Bond; and her great-nephew Braeden Hollowell.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Bond (Becky) of Veedersburg, Indiana; her grandsons, Ryan Jones (Kelly) and Kyle Jones (Hope); her sister Ruth Ann Bush of Lodi, Indiana; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Brown (Marty), Dana Payne (Chad), Gidget Hall (Russell), Renné Pugh (Chad), Dawn Newnum (Harold), Suzie Crouch (Webb), Shelly Skinner (Corey), Lee Ann Mullens (Drew), Bobby Harrison (Shelly), Clint Bush (Heather), Brad Bond and Alex Bond; and her close friend Jody Delp. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
