He is survived by: his children, Allen Pettigrew (Marcia) of Westfield, Marianna Hoffman of Florida, Dale Pettigrew (Barb) of Texas, Tracey Hobson (Dennis) of Florida and Mike Pettigrew (Julie) of Kirklin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
