We are sad to announce that, on May 10, 2026, at the age of 87, Mary Lou Rea (Knightstown, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Geise and Mary Geise (Caldwell); her husband David Lee Rea; and her siblings, Eugene Geise, Jerry Geise, Phyllis Sasser, Juanita Berry and Virginia Stiers.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse Rea (Gretchen) of Connersville, Kathy Ingram (Steven) of Soddy Daisy, TN and Rebecca Schutt (Millard) of Mays; and her siblings, Betty Thomas and David Geise. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home P.O. Box 158 Dublin, Indiana 47335 to help with funeral expenses.
