She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Anna (Hood) and Marion Adkins, Jr.; and her brother Marion Adkins III. She is survived by: her husband Michael Riggs; her children, Jeff Riggs (Lara) of Greenfield and Jenny Riggs of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Zoë (DJ), Trent and Raquel; her sisters-in-law, Kathy Adkins and Marilyn Sue Riggs; her nieces, Ann Marie, Amy and Katrina; and her nephew Rich. She is also survived by several cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Formerly St. Rose Catholic Church (8150 W. US Hwy 40, Knightstown, IN 46148).
