He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Armstrong and Euthena Armstrong (Nye); his wife Mary Carpenter Armstrong; his brother Bob; his siblings-in-law, Janis Armstrong, Larry Joe and Barbara Carpenter; his nieces, Tammy Kerst and Debbie Troxell; his great-nephew Jeremy Ankrom; and his great-niece Leia Ankrom.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Campbell (Jimmy) of Elwood, Nancy Gendreau (Bob) of Glasgow, Sonya Roach (Bill) of Lucas, Kentucky. and Phillip Armstrong of Knightstown.
