Richard left this world on September 19, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Welling and Norma Welling (Kessler); and his brothers, Ralph Welling and Robert Welling. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Welling (Cook); and his children, Matt Lung, Pamela Gough (Garrett), Angela Myers (Patrick), Drew Welling (Michelle) and Jame Welling. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel (1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
