She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Deel and Gladys Thomas Deel; her husband James Howard; her brothers, Danny, Tom and Billy Deel; her grandsons, George Peterson and Christopher Howard; and her great grandchild Logan Mann.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Fosburgh (Dennis) of Monterey, James L. Howard (Teri) of Port Byron, John W. Howard (Kathy) of Knox, Paul R. Howard (Jenny) of Knox and Susan Fields (Billy) of Winamac; and her sister Hazel Bowling (Bob) of Panama. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
