He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wilke and Sharon Sallee Wilke; his son Kolton Robbins; his brother Harvey Wilke; and his nephew Wyatt Wilke.

He is survived by: his wife Kim Kampe; his sons, Gerald "JJ" Wilke (Brittany) of Lapaz, Curtis Wilke (Kristi) of Plymouth and Harley Robbins (Sarah) of Columbia City; and his siblings, Lawrence "Peewee" Wilke (Cathleen) of La Porte and Jacqueline Watt (Greg) of Crandall. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
