Iris Brown Obituary
We announce the death of Iris Brown of Knox, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 86. Iris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Minix and Icey Minix (Rowe); her husband Tom Brown; and her siblings, Helen Mulholland, Joyce Davis, Doris Davis, Alvis Minix, Harold Minix, Hager Minix, Donald Minix, Lester Minix and Doyle Minix.
She is survived by: her former husband Adam Manns; her children, Melissa Keating (Phil Landrey), Jennifer Tauteris (Tom), Anthony Manns (Julie) and Mark Manns; and her sister Charlotte Jackson. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mc Smith Funeral Home (153 E Washington St, Knox, IN 46534). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
