He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lawrence and Louise Lawrence (Haub); his daughter Jackie Lynn; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Shela Barker; and his daughters, Vickie Lawrence and Lisa Young.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Riley's Children's Hospital, or Boy's Town.
