He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Beron and Marie Hardesty (Stickley); his wife Patricia Murphy; and his stepfather Lyman Max Hardesty. He is survived by: his children, Mike Beron (Sonja) of Knox and Kathy Beron of Knox; his granddaughter Rashell Beron of Knox; and his siblings, Beverly Beron Ault of Plymouth, Max Hardesty (Theda) of Knox, John Hardesty (Brie) of Koontz Lake and Karen Hardesty Slone of Hamlet, Indiana.. He is also survived by his family and grand daughter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel (108 S Main St, Knox, IN 46534). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Starke County Freedom Riders.
